Half-Term Films at Broadway Cinema

During the holidays, Broadway Cinema are showing two French films on their big screens. Whether you’re a film buff or just looking for a bit of French culture both of these films have a lot to offer.
Les Demoiselles de Rochefort (showing Tuesday 27th – Wednesday 28th October) comes from Director Jacques Demy who brought us the critically acclaimed The Umbrellas of Cherbourg. A mixture of music and dance, this film is sure to entertain.
The Beaches of Agnes (in French Les plages d’Agnes) is a documentary style self-portrait of the director Agnes Varda, wife of Jacques Demy. This film is running from Friday 23rd October until Thursday 29th October.
