Film – I’m gonna explode

At last - another Spanish film is scheduled at Broadway Cinema! I’m gonna explode (in Spanish Voy a explotar) is running from Friday 5th until Thursday 11th February.
“Pampered 15-year-old Roman is the son of a corrupt politician. Having been expelled from the best private schools in Mexico, he winds up in a public school where he pens a performance piece in which he hangs himself onstage. Disaffected Maru falls hard for him and they decide to run away, but not too far away, preferring to hide out atop Roman’s mansion rooftop. A latter-day remix of Bonnie and Clyde and the French New Wave, this film is an energetic, sympathetic blast of adolescent ennui and misplaced rebellion, written and directed by rising talent Gerardo Naranjo.”
We will be running a trip to see this film – come and see Mrs Moorhouse for more details and watch out for the posters around the department.
