The First Day of the Rest of Your Life (in French Le premier jour du reste de ta vie) is showing at Broadway Cinema from Friday 8th until Thursday 14th January.
“A beautifully written comedy that follows a family through the events of five specific days between 1988 and 2000. The Duvals live peacefully in a comfortable house in a middle-class Parisian suburb until eldest son Albert decides to move out, middle child Raphael struggles to find his calling at art school and little sister Fleur toys with losing her virginity on her 16th birthday -- all of which is revealed in her diary and discovered by her mother. A family fable with a touch of wine, sex and cigarettes, a lot of joy, some sorrow and a ripple of humour.”
