German Storybirds – Year 8
Posted on 27. Jan, 2010 by Mr Picardo in Deutsch, Year 8
The boys in Year 8 have been working hard learning how to describe themselves and the members of their families. They have used a website called Storybird to create short digital books about imaginary families.
You can view a selection of the books they have created below. Don’t forget to click full screen for the full experience!
And why not leave a comment telling the boys how well they are doing?

I thought that Kieran W’s Storybird was very good, his usage of picture to go with the text went well and I thought he used a wide range of vocabulary. I especially liked the pictures though.

I thought kieran W’s was really well presented and had many good pictures. But there is one mistake. But I will forget that one because overall it was a very good piece of work.

Kieran W, your Storybird was amazing! Apart from one mistake which Ben M pointed out the grammer and adjectives used were superb. Also, the pictures in the story were very good.

KieranW, your storybird is very good. You have a wide range of vocabulary for a student learning German for just 6 months. In the final slide however, there is a slight mistake, but on the whole a marvellous effort and you should be proud.
