Presenting the Modern Languages Website
Posted on 25. Jan, 2010 by Mrs Moorhouse in Languages
Bienvenue! Willkommen! Bienvenidos! For one week only the homepage for Nottingham High School’s intranet has been changed to the Modern Foreign Languages Department’s website.
www.nottinghamhighmfl.co.uk is used to showcase students’ work and to communicate with pupils to promote events, websites, songs and films that are relevant to the study of French, German or Spanish here at the High School.
Regular features on the site include the Song of the Week , Website of the Week and updates on foreign language films currently showing at the local Broadway Cinema.
Essential resources for pupils’ personal study are listed on the Student Resources pages of this website. Ask a member of the Languages Department if you are unsure of the password.
Feel free to take the time to explore what we’ve been up to since the website went live in September 2009.
Students are encouraged to feedback on each other’s work or respond to an article by way of comment on the article.
In a similar way, we would welcome any comments and feedback you have on our website. You could recommend a new Song of the Week; perhaps you know of a really good revision website; or maybe you just want to tell us what you think about our website. All comments and feedback are welcome, but remember only to write your first name and not your surname.
In fact, if you leave a feedback comment on this post this week then you will be entered into a prize draw to win iTunes vouchers! In addition to your first name and first initial of you surname, for this week only, please include your form to help us identify the winner!
If you wish to return to Nottingham High School’s homepage, click here.

Fantastic website to help with learning spanish: http://www.spanishdict.com
It covers everything fron basic words up to more complicated grammer. It allows you to work on your reading, writing, listening and speaking; and it offers a points reward system which really makes learning spanish fun!

Creo que Alejandro Sanz es un cantante muy talentoso. Mi canción favorita es ‘no es lo mismo’.

I think that there should be a tab at the top entirely for Work done by pupils. A tranlator and vocab tester would also be very helpful
