Song of the week – De agua by Zia

This week Señor Picardo is hijacking Mrs Moorhouse’s weekly song of the week to showcase the work of a band he discovered in the last Residential Study Trip to Madrid in 2008: Zia (click here to go to their MySpace page), who are one of Madrid’s finest rock bands, and their songs have been keeping Mr Picardo company in long car journeys ever since.

Given that we are going back to Madrid in just over a week’s time, I thought the combination of Madrid’s music with some astonishing aerial shots of Madrid’s major landmarks in the video of their song De Agua would be a perfect way to warm up to what undoubtedly is going to be a fantastic week learning Spanish in Madrid.
