Year 9 describe famous Spanish speaking people
Posted on 13. Feb, 2011 by Mr Picardo in Español, Year 9
The boys in Year 9 have been working hard learning how to describe other people. Below is a selection of the work they have submitted, using a tool called Glogster to help them create multimedia posters in which they describe famous Spanish speaking people.
All posters include the boys’ own text and voices describing their chosen famous Spanish speaking people, and some also have videos of those people speaking Spanish! I personally liked Will Smith having a really good go at speaking Spanish. Good on him!
Further task for the boys: Read and listen to a few of these Glogster multimedia posters and then then pick one you liked particularly and write a comment on the right in the two stars and a wish format that we discussed in lessons (two things that they did really well and one thing that could be improved).

These projects are WONDERFUL! Me parecen muy bonitos! What age are these students who created these projects? I teach Spanish in Largo, FL to children aged 2 – 14 yrs. of age. If you all would like to collaborate on a Spanish Tech Project/Activity, me avise por favor. Mis alumnos tienen ganas de compartir en espanol con otros estudiantes alrededor del mundo. Me avisa en Twitter por favor: la_Profe_S
De nuevo, trabajos bien hechos!

Lewey C – your Glogster is very good. Your writing is really accurate and your pronunciation sounds authentic. Maybe next time you could vary your sentence openings and structure but overall it is great!
